St. Enodoc

🍪🍪🍪🍪🍪 6.9 (2 reviews)

St Enodoc Golf Club sits on firm links land above the Camel Estuary. The ground is tight and fast, so you need control with your flight and strike. Wind shapes your choices on almost every hole. Fairways look open, but the contours move the ball into awkward positions if you lose focus. Greens are quick and natural with run offs that test your short game. The layout mixes calm moments with demanding stretches. The Himalaya bunker and the long par 4s around it give the course its identity. The par 3s rely on precise contact, especially when the breeze picks up. The views across the estuary lift the round and give the course a sense of space. The walk is steady but the terrain keeps you thinking. St Enodoc suits golfers who enjoy pure links golf, firm turf, and a round built on accuracy, planning, and clear decision making.

If it wasn\'t ranked Top 50 in the world, more people (myself included), would probably love it here. Could be one of the best 9/12 hole courses in the world, but the church holes let it down. I\'d play Perranporth 7 - 3 St Enedoc given the choice.
