Turnberry
The Ailsa Course at Turnberry is one of Scotland’s most spectacular links, stretching along the dramatic Ayrshire coastline with views to Ailsa Craig and the Isle of Arran. Site of the legendary 1977 “Duel in the Sun” between Watson and Nicklaus, the course has hosted four Open Championships. The lighthouse beside the 9th tee is one of golf’s most iconic images.
